Phsonic Optical Microphone
Light-Sound Synergy, Micro-Motion Mastery
New Generation Ultrasonic Non-Contact Inspection Solution
Phsonic™ Optical Microphone (High-Frequency Version) features high sensitivity, wide bandwidth, and a compact design. It requires no acoustic matching medium and does not rely on inertial components for sensing. The measured acoustic pressure signals are free from tail oscillations. Additionally, its all-fiber construction is immune to external electromagnetic interference, providing excellent environmental adaptability, which makes it ideal for applications in non-contact nondestructive testing and high-frequency acoustic wave detection.

Applications
Principle
Phsonic™ Optical Microphone is an ultrasonic sensor based on laser interferometry technology, achieving high-precision acoustic wave detection by measuring slight changes in air refractive index.
1)Sensor Probe
Based on laser interferometry detection technology, it analyzes the changes in air refractive index caused by sound pressure in the F-P cavity, enabling high-precision acoustic wave measurement.
2)Demodulator
The demodulator integrates an optical interferometer and works in conjunction with the sensor probe to accurately analyze the cavity length changes in the sensor probe. By combining optical fiber multiplexing technology, it enables simultaneous demodulation of multiple sensitive elements.
